NOTRE DAME HONORED AMBASSADOR

SOUTH BEND, Ind.--U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Adlai E.

Stevenson, who died July 14 in London, redeived many honors from

religious groups. In 1963 he was awarded the 10th annual Patriotism

Award from the University of Notre Dame senior class. Class presi-

dent Edgar C. Eck, Jr., presents the award as Father Edmund P. Joyce,

C.S.C., executive vice-president of Notre Dame, looks on.
