AT WORLD CATHOLIC PRESS CONGRESS

NEW YORK--Father Albert J. Nevins, M.M., editor of Maryknoll magazine

(left), served as general chairman of the Seventh World Congress of

the Catholic Press in New York. Shown with him are two speakers at a

session on "Liberty in the Catholic Press." They are Robert Hoyt,

editor of the National Catholic Reporter, Kansas City, Mo. (center);

and Alejandro Granados, editor of Noticias Aliadas, Lima, Peru. The

world congress was sponsored by the International Union of the Catholic

Press and the Catholic Press Association of the U.S. and Canada. The

CPA also held its annual meeting in connection with the congress.
