VIOLENCE AT PARIS DEMONSTRATION

PARIS--Fallen anti-nuclear pickets are clubbed by helmeted

policemen during a brief but violent incident on Mar. 15 in

Paris.

The demonstration attended by 2,000, was called to support a Brittany group protesting

the construction of a nuclear plant at Plogoff.

Some 2,000 attended the demonstration. Two demonstrators and three policemen were injured during the incident.
