PEACE MISSION IN BELFAST

BELFAST, No. Ireland--The Rev. Arthur Blessitt, the Baptist

minister who is a leader of the Jesus People movement in the U.S.,

carries a wooden cross and passes out "Smile, Jesus Loves you"

stickers to people as he walks on a peace mission through the

streets of Belfast. Mr. Blessitt, who once carried a cross from Los

Angeles to Washington, D.C., has been travelling throughout Britain

with his family, bringing the gospel of the Jesus movement to the

streets of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland with his cross, a

guitar and a tambourine, a lot of singing and millions of stickers.
