WBT 2000 Tribes Pavilion

The Wycliffe Bible Translators' Pavilion of 2000 Tribes features the mural

"SAVAGE TO CITIZEN" by Douglas Riseborough. The five panels of this 10' by

100' painting depict the true story of the life of Chief Tariri and his

transformation from a savage killer to a Christian leader among his own Shapra

tribesmen. Wycliffe personnel who have lived and worked in the sixteen

countries where the organization is conducting tribal work are on hand at

the pavilion to welcome visitors, answer questions, and explain the displays.
