Korea Mission Meeting, 1897.
Historic meeting of Korea Mission in 1897 at which, with Dr. Robert E. Speer present, an educational policy to fit the Nevius Method was adopted. This vitally effected [sic] the character of all Presbyterian work in Korea and contributed to the explosive growth of the Korean Church from 1900 on. It was repudiated by the Board in N.Y. in 1914.
