Heidi and Frank Vardeman were allies in the More Light movement which worked
for LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the PC(USA). They became involved in the 1980s as
pastors of John Calvin Presbyterian Church (Tampa, Florida), a welcoming
congregation that helped form the Tampa AIDS Network.
