Korea 1897 - Farewell to Dr. Speer on the road to Pyengyang. Dr. Speer, right of center, is bare-headed, bearded, + wears black, bow tie. Dr. Speer, new Board Sec., was on a trip around the world to study missions, He visited Pyengyang station with Rev. Graham Lee (who is at left in the picture wearing western style straw hat). They walked from Pyengyang to Seoul, + this group of Koreans went with them as far as Whangju, where this picture was taken.

Description:
College Gospel Team - Summer 1921 - These are college boys of the Union Christian College in Pyengyang, Korea, as they were when they went out on tour holding evangelistic services last summer. The students of this institution quite regularly spend their vacation in this way summers and at Christmas. Every student in this institution since its founding has been a Christian. The present enrollment is 132 in the college. Several of these men play in the large orchestra of the college which is managed entirley by a Korean graduate of the college who took some months of studying in America.
