- Pioneers in Mission. Possibly in Hunan, China where the Millicans first worked. N. B. In the early days very many missionaries of various denominations (aside from those who lived in cities where there were other foreigners) wore Chinese dress to identify themselves with Chinese life. In this picture, six are so dressed. The one in foreign clothes is probably a Mission Board Sec. visitor.
