CUBAN REFUGEES GET HELPING HAND IN PERU
LIMA, Peru--A Cuban youngster eagerly reaches for a platter of food from
a Red Cross volunteer on Apr. 20, at a refugee camp near Lima, Peru.
Elsewhere, in a bid to President Fidel Castro for resumption of evacuation
flights which he had canceled, a Costa Rican Foreign Ministry official said
that his country was willing to grant permanent asylum to all 10,000 Cubans
who sought refuge at the Peruvian Embassy in Havana.
